Disco evolution

The latest Discovery combines a design evolution with a versatile and intelligently packaged interior – embodying the spirit of family adventure that has characterised the premium family SUV brand of Land Rover for more than 30 years.

Featuring the latest generation six-cylinder Ingenium petrol and diesel engines, advanced Pivi Pro infotainment and based on the new Electrical Vehicle Architecture (EVA 2.0) platform, the Disco delivers new levels of sophistication, while retaining its breadth of on- and off-road capability and towing credentials.

New LED headlights with a daytime running light signature set lower into the units, revised front bumper, and new side vents create a more purposeful look, and at the rear, new signature LED lights are joined by a new gloss black panel. The R-Dynamic model has unique design elements, including purposeful exterior accents and two-tone leather and contrast seat stitching inside.

The petrol versions of the new straight-six engines feature 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology and the lightweight D300 six-cylinder Ingenium diesel replaces the previous SD4 and SDV6 diesels. The local engine line-up include the P360 3.0-litre six-cylinder MHEV petrol (265 kW and 500 Nm) and D300 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel (221 kW and 650 Nm).

The Disco also benefits from an updated Terrain Response 2 system, redesigned centre console with larger HD touchscreen for the Pivi Pro infotainment system, Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates, and new Cabin Air Filtration. The new Discovery will be introduced in the first half of 2021 in S, SE R-Dynamic, and HSE R-Dynamic trim levels with pricing ranging from R1 452 700 to R1 710 900.
