BOLDER KUV100

NXT NOW PACKS MORE VALUE

Mahindra has updated its KUV100 model, now differentiated as the NXT, with bold new styling and additional features. The 2018 model has a bolder stance, thanks to a new, redesigned seven-slot grille, new headlights with LED daylight running lights, larger alloy wheels (on the top K8 variant), and redesigned double-barrel tail lamps.

A new silver skid plate in front emphasises its SUV-family genes, and new blacked-out surrounds for the integrated fog lights are standard on the K8 model. New 15-inch alloy wheels on the K8 sit in flared wheel arches with redesigned cladding, and the integrated roof rails have been redesigned.

Inside it has new fabric upholstery, piano black detailing on certain models, a new temperature control panel on models fitted with climate control, a bigger seven-inch touch screen on the K8 variant, a new gearshift indicator display, and reverse parking sensors. All variants are equipped with dual front airbags, ABS (EBD only on K6+ and K8 variants), and corner braking control (CBC).

As previously, all models are equipped with either the three-cylinder 1.2 mFalcon G80 turbo-petrol engine (61 kW and 115 Nm of torque) or the 1.2 mFalcon D75 turbodiesel mill (57 kW and 190 Nm of torque) that drives the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.

Coupled with an attractive finance and insurance offer, the six models in the KUV100 NXT range represents excellent value for money, with prices starting from R134,999 for the entry-level K2+ Petrol, increasing to R199,999 for the K8 Petrol derivative and R219,999 for the top K8 Diesel model.
